On the night of 11 November we got to know the list of the 7 New Wonders of Nature announced by the New7Wonders Foundation. The Land of Great Masurian Lakes, despite failing to appear among the top 7 finalists, can boast being listed on the extended list of 14 places which got the greatest number of votes during the three-year campaign. Masuria has outclassed such places as the Grand Canyon, Galapagos Islands, Maldives and all the candidates from Europe.
As a result of the the three-year campaign, even though without the ultimate victory, Masuria found its place in the select company of the most beautiful spots on earth. At the same time it was the only opportunity of its kind to present the region to the international arena. We are pleased that developing the campaign’s main portal and the related services we have contributed to the success of the venture.
